Ingredients

Scale

5 cups crispy rice cereal
4 cups mini marshmallows
4 tbsp unsalted butter
18 Oreo cookies, crushed into medium chunks
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional garnish)

Instructions

Line a 9×9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
Crush 18 Oreo cookies into chunks using a zip-top bag and a rolling pin.
Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over low heat.
Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows to the butter and stir constantly until fully melted.
Remove the pot from the heat immediately.
Fold in the 5 cups of crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
Gently fold in the crushed Oreo chunks.
Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking pan using a buttered spatula.
Allow the treats to set at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
Drizzle with melted white chocolate chips if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Do not overheat the marshmallows to ensure the bars remain soft and chewy.
Use fresh bags of marshmallows for better melting consistency.
