Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 large egg
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
In a separate medium bowl, beat the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just incorporated.
Spoon batter into muffin cavities until three-quarters full.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
Whisk powdered sugar with a splash of milk to create a glaze and drizzle over the slightly cooled donuts.

Notes

Ensure all wet ingredients are at room temperature for the best batter consistency. Do not overmix the batter to keep the crumb light and tender. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
