Indulge in the perfect autumn treat with this homemade Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte. Crafted with real pumpkin puree, aromatic spices, and a touch of natural maple syrup, this refreshing beverage offers a sophisticated, cafe-quality experience at home. By using real ingredients instead of artificial syrups, you get an authentic, creamy, and cooling coffee drink that is perfectly balanced and easy to customize to your preferred sweetness and milk choice.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup milk (oat or almond recommended)
2 shots espresso, brewed and slightly cooled
2 tbsp pumpkin puree (not pie filling)
1 tbsp maple syrup
0.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup ice cubes
Optional: whipped cream and extra spice for garnish

Instructions

Whisk the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice in a small saucepan over medium heat until fragrant.
Add the milk to the saucepan and stir continuously until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
Remove from heat and strain through a fine-mesh sieve for a silky texture if desired.
Fill a tall glass with fresh ice cubes.
Pour the cooled espresso shots over the ice.
Pour the spiced pumpkin milk over the espresso mixture.
Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice if desired.

Notes

Brew the espresso in advance to ensure it is cooled before pouring over ice to prevent dilution. Use a milk frother after heating the pumpkin milk mixture for a better foam texture. The pumpkin-maple mixture can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
