Ingredients

Scale

1 box fudge-style brownie mix
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1 cup chocolate frosting
12 chocolate sandwich cookies
1/2 cup crushed chocolate cookies
Optional candy bones or pumpkins

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Line a standard 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water until smooth.
Divide the batter evenly into the muffin liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the tin.
Spread a layer of chocolate frosting over the top of each brownie cup.
Sprinkle with crushed cookie crumbs to create a dirt effect.
Insert a chocolate sandwich cookie vertically into each brownie to act as a tombstone.
Decorate with additional candy bones or pumpkins as desired.

Notes

Ensure brownies are completely cooled before frosting to prevent melting. You can use a piping bag for the frosting for a more professional finish on the grave site.
